Keywords

Choose keywords that you want this page to rank for, so when people search for that keyword, they’ll find you.

The keywords do not have ranking on their own.

In order to rank for these keywords you must use them through out this pages content including but not limited to the headline, sub-headline, page title and  meta description.

Page title

The page title is one of the most important ways for Google to determine your page’s topic. Not having the focus keyword in the title severely decreases your chance of ranking. Use keyword(s) at least once towards the beginning of the title tag.

The optimal length for a title is determined by how much Google can show in their search results.

A page's meta description should intelligently (in a natural, non-spammy way) employ the keywords that page is targeting, but also create a compelling description that a searcher will want to click. It should be directly relevant to the page it describes, and unique from the descriptions for other pages. Use keyword(s) at least once in the meta description tag.

Meta description

A page's meta description should intelligently (in a natural, non-spammy way) employ the keywords that page is targeting, but also create a compelling description that a searcher will want to click. It should be directly relevant to the page it describes, and unique from the descriptions for other pages. Use keyword(s) at least once in the meta description tag.

Image alt text

If you close your eyes, have someone read the alt text to you, and you can imagine a reasonably accurate version of the image, you're on the right track. Please specify image file name first, then the alt text (for example, redhouse.jpg- red-two-story-house-with-white-picket-fence).
